Yes. YES, this is as fiddly and requires as nimble of sausage fingers as it looks like to remove the sprues. It is, however, well worth the effort - I strongly advise to use small tweezers to get the job done.
When you paint this, try to keep the colors of the wounded person on the floor down, maybe even mix a bit of black into the red, so the white of the battlefield medic pops out even more, keeping the focus on her instead of the minced meat, pardon me, patient.
