Diagnostic Drone from Transformers IDW Comics

Buzzing in from the pages of the IDW comics, here's Ratchet and First Aid's indispensable flying buddy on their medical team - the Diagnostic Drone!

This cute little fella zips around to assist the medical team, helping to carry around tools as the need arises as his little fingers are sized to work with 5mm handles.

On the rear, a convenient 5mm sized booster allows for effect parts to be used for when this lil drone needs to REALLY zoom around!

With his wings and arms both being ball-socket joints, they allow for all kinds of more expressive gestures! He can even give a friendly wave at ya!

But that's not all - as he has been designed in a modular fashion, you can also do up variant swappable designs for his face:

Here's a diagram showing all the parts which make up the Diagnostic Drone.

All the bits snap fit in place, but do take care when popping the ball joints into their respective sockets so as not to snap any of the more delicate bits.

As a little tip for the fingers (heh heh, a finger tip), after being printed, they can be slightly adjusted by carefully using a little bit of heat from a lighter briefly on them and then bending them to the shape you need.

Also provided is a display stand and base to mount the drone, so he can be displayed hovering around. The stem can be resized to change its length as needed before printing. But if its available, a 5mm clear rod would look much nicely (and is what we used also)
