3D model description

My first contribution to the modular mounting system, and it doesn't even use the modular hinge! It does use the Ball joint for modular mounting system by Gavitka, which uses that hinge.

My problem was how to mount my smart phone for use as a dash cam in my 2004 Toyota Corolla. The solution was to attach it to the rear view mirror using the modular mounting system.

This part attaches to the 16.5 mm diameter stem of the rear view mirror using two zip ties. I then used the socket end of Gavika's mount to attach to my ball end. And I attached yyh1002's phone mount to that.

Should be easy to remix the curved end to fit your particular diameter tube.

Pictures coming soon.
