3D model description

I built this nose cone from scratch, Took a few iterations before successfully printing but now its working great. One thing, this scales great for larger rockets, so you could easily expand this using something like tinkercad, simply import the STL and expand the diameter by adjusting both the Length and Width from its current 41.6mm (on the BT-60 version) to 56.3mm for BT-70 or 66mm for BT-80.

BTW, here are some of the standard tube sizes in 'Merican and Metric

BT5 (13mm) (Fits 13mm Mini Motors like 1/2A3T-2 or A4-4T etc) -

Inner Diameter: 0.518" (1.32 cm/13.2mm)
Outer Diameter: 0.544" (1.38 cm/13.8mm)
BT-20 (18mm) (Fits 18mm A/B/C motors)
Inner Diameter: 0.710" (1.8 cm/18mm)
Outer Diameter: 0.736" (1.87 cm/18.7mm)
BT-50 (24mm) (Fits 24mm D/E Motors)
Inner Diameter: 0.950" (2.41 cm/24.1mm)
Outer Diameter: 0.976" (2.48 cm/24.8mm)
29mm (Fits 29mm E/F Motors)
Inner Diameter: 1.140" (2.9 cm/29mm)
Outer Diameter: 1.176" (2.99 cm/29.9mm)
BT-55
Inner Diameter: 1.283" (3.26 cm/32.6mm)
Outer Diameter: 1.325" (3.37 cm/33.7mm)
BT-60
Inner Diameter: 1.595" (4.05 cm/40.5mm)
Outer Diameter: 1.637" (4.16 cm/41.6mm)
BT-70-
Inner Diameter: 2.180" (5.54 cm/55.4mm)
Outer Diameter: 2.217" (5.63 cm/56.3mm)
BT-80:
Inner Diameter: 2.558" (6.5 cm/65mm)
Outer Diameter: 2.600" (6.6 cm/66mm)

So this rocket has a central core cone, at the base of this cone, there are openings on the outer wall to allow air to pass through. This outer wall goes up on the outside of the central cone and has another cone that is chopped off, Allowing some of the air to enter the nose cone and pass through the openings.. I've included a cross section of this nosecone so it is easier to imagine what i just described. This cone looks pretty cool on the rocket, especially if you take your time and paint that central cone a different color from the outside of the nosecone.
