The Black Widow sniper rifle from Mass Effect 3
I split up the model to print on an Ender 3 sized build plate (220x220x250). The STL files are split and oriented to print largely without supports, though there are a few exceptions as stated below.
See the images.zip for the part layout.
***HARDWARE***
The lower barrel is not 3D printed. For that I used a 22mm diameter wooden dowel.
There are also holes through the main body parts to put two 8mm diameter threaded steel rods down the center for some extra support and registration.
***SUPPORTS***
The following files need supports
Touching buildplate only:
MainBody2
MainBody6
Trigger
ScopeBody - Supports everywhere or Tree supports on the buildplate that can get the overhangs half way up.
Supports for MainBody4
For this one I would recommend using tree supports, or blocking the small screw holes from getting supports, otherwise you'll need to dig them out of there.
Grip might need supports. Depends on how well your printer does with the overhang.
I did this all in PLA 0.2 layer height.
Most parts had about 10-20% infill
