Fire Priestesses teach that the dance of the flames is a supreme inspiration to all fighters. A sect of female rangers and fighters have incorporated that credo into their fighting styles, so that they use a combination of a long sword and dagger and fight without any armor, relying upon their speed and unpredictability to evade enemy strikes. Their usually burning hair serves to distract and misdirect, and even to burn those who approach them carelessly.
Far North is a place of cold and darkness for the greater part of the year. Food and warmth are scarce so those barbarian tribes who dwell there frequently choose to align themselves to various supernatural beings, spirits and elementals – even demons and fiends – in order to survive.
Fire Barbarians is one such tribe.
