3D model description

This is a storage solution for the recent Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon kickstarter. It assumes you have all the expansions, i.e. the base game, the Stretch Goals (Age of Legends/Last Knight/Book of Memories) and Red Death.

The internal box dimensions of the base game box is: 298 x 298 x 119mm.
The internal box dimensions of the stretch goals box is: 297 x 297 x 115mm.

The intention here is to store your current game (i.e. the location deck, chapter cards, 4 character decks, encounter decks, item cards, secret cards, tokens/cubes) in the base game box, while the cards for the expansions, unused characters (including Niamh) and journals are stored in the stretch goals box. There should be enough space to fit 1 more expansion (possibly). Note that I consolidated all the secret cards from all the expansions into a single deck - the numbers from each campaign are unique, so there's no issue there.

It supports sleeved cards, I use Mayday standards. I have not tried premium thickness sleeves, and suspect they will not fit. Note that the spaces for the large location cards (120x80mm) are 124 x 84mm. I did have some Mayday sleeves for this card size that were nearly 5mm longer than some other sleeves, so I had to to trim down with a guillotine.

Note, Box2_CharacterDeck_Tray_Upper_x4.stl will be empty if you have a game in progress and are storing the character decks in the Fall of Avalon box.

Note also that you will need a couple of spacers to increase the height of some of the trays in an effort to reduce filament. You can use EVA or packing foam of the appropriate thickness cut ot size instead of printing the spacers (I'd recommend printing the spacers with 0 top/bottom layers - so it only prints the perimeters and the infill). For the base game box, there is the:

1) Box1_Items_Tray_Spacer.stl - this goes beneath the Box1_Items_Tray.stl. Dimensions: 142 x 54 x 10mm.
2) Box1_Secrets_Tray_Spacer.stl - this goes beneath the Box1_Secrets_Tray.stl. Dimensions: 168 x 60 x 10mm
3) Box1_LocationsDeck_Spacer.stl - this goes beneath the Box1_LocationsDeck_Tray.stl. Dimensions: 130 x 75 x 10mm

For the Stretch goals box, there is:

4) Box2_ChapterDecks_Spacer.stl - you need two of these to go beneath the Box2_ChapterDecks_Tray.stl and Box2_ChapterDecks_Tray2.stl. Dimensions: 148 x 72 x 8mm.
5) Box2_Upper_Spacer.stl - this is required to fill a space. Dimensions: 16 x 97 x 40mm

Again, 8mm and 16mm thick EVA foam are excellent substitutes.

I've included a .zip file of the chapter card dividers.

Be warned, this is a massive print - 2 rolls of filament and 50+ hours.

UPDATE: 02/05/2021
Note that the miniatures are NOT stored in this insert solution - I store all the miniatures in the shallower Red Death box (including the companions miniatures). I used a 300mm x 300mm feldherr 50mm deep pick and pluck tray to store them in this box (with a 5mm topper and 10mm base). I've included a plan for which spaces to pluck in the photos. Try to keep each shape complete when plucking. For the shallower mini's, I cut off a small amount from the foam I plucked to raise the miniature off the base to bring it closer to the top of the box.
