3D model description

30/12/2021 - UPDATE: I added split up versions of both gantry platform versions(Tie Fighter and Tie Interceptor). This way its much easier to print them on smaller printers!

20/12/2021 - UPATE: I added the platform parts for the Tie Interceptor. Those are named with "tie Interceptor" so its easier to identify them in the files list.

UPDATE: I added the stairs as split up version(without railing) and the railing as extra files. Enjoy!

I wanted to have a proper way for displaying my TVC Tie Fighter. As i remembered from playing SW: Squadrons, there where gantries for the Ties. So i checked out different pics and decided to build it.

The gantry is 29,3cm wide, 30,2cm long and 20cm high.

This version fits the Hasbro TVC Tie Fighter(Big one). It could also hold the Tie Bomber, Interceptor and Vader Fighter. I will make the needed parts in the future so those will fit too :)

I added 4 smaller connections pins for the 3 pieces of the platform. I would advice to scale them down by 2 percent. Those need to be glued into the according holes on the side of the platforms. For structural strenght, i added 3 pieces which need to be glues underneath the platform. See the pic with the red marked pieces! But the stairway doesn´t need to be connected to the platform. Maybe its easier to use the space you have at home. Feel free :) You can place the pillars as seen on the pics but can also put them anywhere you like. The tops and bottoms for the pillars will fit better if they are scaled up by 2 percent. I also added a small ladder for entering the Tie :)

And now - Enjoy!

PS: The Tie and the Tie Pilot are not included as files!

3D printing settings

As fine as you are willing to :) I guess 0.2 would also work. Or you use your resin printer.
