https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4uSPPAtK_g

Thank you for all the feedback, it's allowed us to make this puzzle box extra robust and much much more fun! All the feedback has lead to MASSIVE improvements! Stronger, No more wear, less breaking, smoother, better, easier to use/store/ship and MORE!

The Spring improvements: The launch_spring and T7 of the option to add dental rubber bands for MAXIMUM Force (and so this never wears out)

The Rocket improvements: The new rocket is a twist-release type mechanism. You will notice there are 2 ways to connect the rocket. One is tighter, and one is looser!

Let me know in the comments which you prefer!!!

The Launch- Puzzle Box is an original design by Leisure Luke. It's a 22 Piece Puzzle Box that is SUPER EASY TO PRINT! No Supports Needed. Print it in PLA! Parts without squiggly springs can be PETG or PLA. Very little plastic used!

0.1mm tolerance for all non-sliding parts.
0.2mm tolerance for sliding parts
0.05mm increment tolerance for Rocket Tip to fit Rocket Base. You want this snug, but easy to pull apart.

My Colors:
T7_TheLaunch.stl (Previously T6_222_Alien.stl) - Red
Clip_Print_4_of_These - I printed 2 in Red and 2 in Blue
Wheel_3 - Red
Launch_Spring - Gold (hidden)
Rocket_Fins - Red 5 layers, Grey for Remainder
Rocket_Tip - Red 5 layers, Grey for Remainder
Wheel_2 - White
Dice_Face - White
Rocket_Button - Blue
Button_Spring - White
RLB - Blue
Wheel_1 -Blue
RLT - Blue
RLM - Blue
Key_Hole - Black
PartB - Black
Face_NASA - Marble for 5 layers, Red for remainder
Launch_Lid - Marble for 2 layers, Blue for 5 layers, Marble for remainder
PV4_Base - Black for 2 layers, Gold for 5 layers, Marble for remainder

You should be able to straight from the PRINT bed to ASSEMBLY! No External parts needed - no metal springs, no bearings, no magnets, no electronics, NO GLUE, NO SANDING... you get the idea!

As tested - 100% PLA 3D Printed!

Print all 18 pieces and 4 clips and they'll fit together pretty easily. Watch the YouTube video, I use a pliers for the Launch Spring and for the clips. I've left plenty room for tools in assembly, so I don't think most people will have any trouble. If parts seem like they fit really tight - your extruder settings probably need to come down a few percentages.

I included extra tight & loose rocket tips if needed for the best possible feel. The triangle sides have been extended 0.05mm and -0.05mm on those versions.

Again, see the YouTube Videos to get excited, for assembly, and if needed, to show the solve as well!

Leave your comments, and tune in for the next version RELEASED FEB 2021

OPTIONAL #4 and #5 Combination Lock wheels Now Available (1/19/2021)

These are all modular pieces that will be a part of a larger project... that I rambled on about in Episode 1 :P Basically, each puzzle becomes a side of Puzzle box that I call - the 5 aces. After the 4th Puzzle Box I'll release the final pieces required to do the full "5 Aces" Assembly. I'll also be printing and sending that puzzle box to a few youtubers to solve, and possibly selling a fully-assembled version on Etsy (if people are interested). Thanks for all the likes and feedback! I need more feedback always!

I'd love a like, follow, subscribe, etc. I'm hoping I can keep making cutting edge puzzle boxes bigger better and FREE for a long time!!!!

Part B has so far been the trickiest part to print for people, so use your favorites settings for that part. It's essentially printing two small parallel towers that connect at the bottom and at the top.
