3D model description

This radiator in my bedroom, pretty useless as I hardly ever turn it on. But what I lack is some place to put a mug on. So I designed a top to convert the radiator into a night table.

The radiator has those ribs with precisely 60mm spacing. 9 of them in sum. Each ribb is 110mm wide.

So there is a clip which fits right over the top of a radiator rib, even just one of them is pretty stable. An array of 3 of them, connected by a 180mm long rectangle which creates the plain surface is the part in the middle. On both ends its a variated part which has a 150mm plate on top so the ends won't hang over.

Very stable, I could never buy such a thing, glad I can make it.

3D printing settings

-This thing has been designed for PLA and prints ok with 0.3 mm layer height. Support is optional, there's a bit of overhang at the fist few layers of the 'legs' but really support isn't needed.

With 180 mm resp. 150 mm length and 116 mm width it will fit on most build plates and finish in 3+ hours.
