3D model description

Measured and modelled this as best I could, I needed a few for myself to build some IJN railgun teams and the stand alone hero and I hope you like it.

Resin ones should print really well at a layer height of 0.05, I would also suggest setting a custom profile in your FDM printer for a 0.05 layer height and a line width of 0.28 instead of the typical 0.32 as well as using a 100 percent infill.

The FDM gun is in 2 pieces so you can do a quick test print of half the weapon as you may need to dial in your settings.

I've included a flat 30x60mm base for doing Railgun team conversions, if you want a textured version check out this kit which has tons of patterned bases including a 30x60mm version: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/dust-war-80mm-patterned-base

Big thanks to those who download, knowing you guys are going to enjoy this as much as I do for my custom builds gives me the drive to make more stuff.

3D printing settings

Set a custom layer height of 0.05mm for Resin and FDM for the gun and 0.1mm for the backpack

FDM: Consider using a custom line width of 0.28 instead of 0.32 for slightly better results on a 0.4mm nozzle.

Use 100% infill for both RESIN and FDM.

FDM: Consider using a 0.2mm nozzle for FDM to get even better results as this part is very small, what I've shown is the typical 0.4mm.

Issues with it not sticking or just bad results? Enable BRIMS and also consider slowing your print speed to 30mm/s, just make sure you have a new X-acto knife handy with a very sharp tip if your use BRIMS as this gun is extremely small.
