3D model description

Fast and easy Rc Boat which can be 3d Printed
The boat is designed like a Outrigger/Sponson Boat which can reach extremely high speeds and perform drag races but i adjusted the hull so that its use is very universal. The bow has a slight V shape and increased volume, allowing it to glide and cut better through waves and preventimg nose dives. The sponsons lay deeper in the water than the bow of the hull so that at high speed it glides on the back part of the sponsons only reducing drag in the water. The ridepanels of the sponsons are not completely flat so that it can perform save turns at high speeds

The models stock dimensions are very small for an mini outrigger, but you can scale them as needed in Ultimaker Cura for example

It has a cover which fits flush in the hull and can be fixed with tape, screws or whatever works for you

Stock hull lenght with Sponsons:
385 mm

3D printing settings

The Sponsons are not hollow which guarantees a lot more strenght and the weight can be kept low by only using about 15% Infill
I printed the hull with only 5% Infill because I'm covering the hull with carbon fibre and thus it doesn't need to be strong by itself.

All the parts are printed in PETG but PLA does work aswell
