3D model description

The three wise monkeys embodying the maxim, see no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil. The concept of the three monkeys originated in Japan from the 16th century and possibly earlier. This sculpt was made in Adobe Medium. The photos show the model in its bare plastic state and also after it has been finished with black spray paint and rubbed with fine metal powder and wax.

3D printing settings

Tip the model so that legs, heads, toes and any other pointy parts point away from the build plate. Use medium supports. One photo shows an effective orientatation you might want to start with. Manually place additional supports wherever you see a potential island. This means anywhere you see a point or rounding in the model that faces the build plate, put added supports.

I adjusted my length to be about 4 inches (100mm). This makes a nice desk ornament. Try making smaller models for pendants.
