3D model description

Elephant Sherpa

Shoutout to https://www.thingiverse.com/r0b0tn1k/designs (https://www.thingiverse.com/r0b0tn1k/designs) for the design concept and testing

Consider this a prototype, as I haven't tested it myself.

Update Dec 26:

Added dragon hotend rigid mount

Shroud updated as well: smaller duct output opening, air coming from the top tube, is blocked more to avoid going down all the way to the hotend block, and better redirection of air toward hotend heatsink.

elephant sherpa_ender3.stl
ender3/pro cr10 only, if you want ender3v2 let me know. (this is not a common case setup, so only doing minimal updates)

Ender 3/pro CR-10 and similar mounting plates

Remote fan shroud, 25mm inner diameter hose holes
top is for hotend, bottom is for part cooling

180degree part cooling.

hotend compatibility:
- stock - use " base hotend mount"
- dragonfly BMO rigid mounted - use "dragonfly BMO rigid mount" two parts
- dragonfly BMO groove mounted - use " dragonfly BMO groove mount" two parts
- dragonfly BMS (most likely will need a small spacers to clear the heat block) use "base hotend mount"

direct drive:
- sherpa mini
(will work in bowden setup as well)

Two part print, the shroud itself and small piece to add rigidity, that is sandwiched between the hotend and the mounting plate.

Screws:
- front screw holes, aprox M3x6: upper one is for ender3v2, lower one is for ender3/pro/cr10
- left side hole below bltouch mount, aprox M3x6
- Sherpa mini, two M3 nuts that slides throught ramps, and two M3x12 to secure it
- right wall, connecting the shroud and the small part to add rigidity any length between M3x8 and M3x12

should be compatible with CRtouch as well, might just need a small spacer to lower it.

3D printing settings

0.2mm layer

Print with mount side facing down (the stl file should already be that way), only place that may need print support is at the base of the hose input on the outside, everything else has been designed to be support free
