3D model description

This is my 1/6 scale version of the Moon Buggy from the 1970s television series Space 1999. The real one, based on an gasoline powered Amphicat had a muffler and an exhaust pipe channeled to the ground to hide the smoke and disguise it as moon dust. My version is the idealized version that probably would be battery powered.

If you want, you can use 12 volt automobile "penny" lights for the head lights, and even make it RC if you add gears to the wheel axles. If you intend to print it out at the 1/6 scale as it was designed, you will need 3/16 rod for the axles.

I used Rustoleum Sun Yellow for the main colour. I have also included graphic files for either stickers or decals.

I printed this on my resin printer, but I would recommend printing the body on a FDM printer for better support and less weight.

The model is about 13 3/8" or 340mm long, but you can scale it down or up.

Comes with Cargo Container (stackable) and Radiation Canister along with graphics for stickers/decals.

3D printing settings

0.2mm layer height and 20% infill

Can also be printed on a resin printer.
