Adjusting the tray while hot

This framed cross allows you to:

• to refine the 0.20 mm gap between the nozzle and the platen of your printer

• to check the centering of the prints

• to check the flatness of the plate

This action is done while the file is being printed, which takes 1 to 2 minutes!

Use:

• for 30x30 cm trays: the file "bed level 26x26 cm.stl"

• for 15x15 cm trays: the file "bed level 13x13 cm.stl"

Line width: 0.6mm (i.e. 3 layers) and line thickness: 0.20 mm (i.e. 1 layer)

Once the printing is started, you just have to fine tune the settings with the wheels of the plate:

• tray too low: the filament falls and does not adhere to the tray

• tray too high: the filament is too crushed and even difficult to get out of the nozzle

• ideal setting: the filament is barely crushed and adheres well to the tray
