3D model description

I designed a bracket for a standard sash clamp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4659545 but also needed one for my two tee bar clamps, which are twice the width
These Tee Bar Sash clamp wall brackets are designed for Irwin Record clamps (but may fit other brands) and hang on French cleats (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_cleat) . You need to print one of each bracket for each sash clamp, they are then bolted together using one of either a 6mm coach bolt or 6mm studding (1/4” should work as well. There is also a screw hole if you want to screw the assembly to the wall, so that when you lift the last clamp off the backets assembly does not lift off the cleat.
I have bolted 4 of these together, they work great and the clamps take up very little space, see photos.
My French cleats are 9mm thick MDF with a 45 degree slope, so these will work on 9mm or anything thicker.
Of course you could put as many together as you require, as long as you have a long enough bolt or f studding.
They have been designed to print of without the need for supports, hence the 2 parts. Also the bolt strengthens the design.
They need to be printed with the outside faces on the bed, but they were modelled in the vertical position. So please make sure you rotate them to the correct orientation .
I have printed in PLA with a 20% fill, these are strong enough even for my 60inch long clamps.
If anyone is interested in the brackets without the French cleat, please let me know.
