3D model description

Detailed replica of the Robot B9 from the 60โ€™s Lost in Space series specially created for 3D printing.

Result of more than 150 hours of CAD work to design each part specifically suitable for 3D printing in the corresponding colors, with no need for post-painting. Itโ€™s the most detailed 3D replica youโ€™ll find.

A total of 64 parts (35 stl files) to print the complete robot. Only 4 pieces may require support. Original model is 46cm tall but can be scaled to be smaller or larger. In the pictures one with 46cm and one with 97cm.

The body on top of the waist can turn left or right limited by a pivot.

3D printing settings

Easy print: Only the collar, head base, middle body and lower talk panel needs support. The donut of the model in the photo was made with a flat vase (terrarium) with a wide mouth. Just change the scale of the robot to match the vase you got. If you prefer, you can print the donut that comes with the model, but as there is no really transparent filament, using a glass vase is more faithful to the original.
