3D model description

This adapter allows you to fit the LayLax Tokyo Marui SCAR Flat Top Kit (https://www.laylax.com/en/products/detail.php?product_id=3870) onto your WE SCAR-L and may also fit a WE SCAR-H (although untested).

3D printing settings

  1. print the model using the recommended settings below

  2. remove the front iron sight from your WE SCAR

  3. unscrew the Picatinny section from the base of the LayLax Flat Top Kit

  4. screw the printed adapter base onto the Picatinny section

  5. mount the modified Flat Top Kit into the gas block of your WE SCAR and carefully tighten the screws

Warning: If you tighten the screws too much there's a chance of destroying the adapter. It is designed to be a good press-fit and the screws on both sides of the gas block should only keep the mount in place. Use loctite or any other screw glue if you want to keep them in place permanently.

Recommended print settings:

  • Supports enabled

  • 25-50 mm/s speed

  • 0.1-0.2 mm layer height

  • 5-10 top/bottom layers

  • 30-50% infill

  • 2-4 walls
