The 105mm howitzer, Howitzer 105mm M2, M2A1, M101 or M101 A1, is an American-made 105mm twin-arrow towed field artillery piece developed prior to World War II. It was used on all fronts of the U.S. Army throughout World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. It served in many armies, in particular in the French army during the Indochina war and the Algerian war.
