3D model description

I had a small trash can on the bathroom countertop, but I wanted to print one that took up less visual space. I built a solid octagonal shape in Fusion 360, exported it, and then used PrusaSlicer's spiral vase mode to print it in Prusament's clear PETG with a .6mm nozzle, a layer height of .4, and 6 solid layers on the bottom.

This resulted in a serviceable small trash can, but I was disappointed that the sides warped slightly when I took it out of my enclosure, and I wish it would have come out with the walls a little thicker. I think I would use a larger nozzle next time, and let it cool down slowly in the enclosure before I took it out. Vase mode and a clear filament created a cool whirl pattern in the print though. You can see in the pictures.

I've included the CAD files in case you want to hollow it out on your own and not print it in spiral vase mode. I've also included the .gcode files if you want to try to print it exactly like I did (make sure you have a .6mm nozzle if that's the case). I'd love to hear your experience printing it!
