76-80mm RC Shock strut - spring load

Designed for 3D plow shock alternative to buying an entire assembly. This shock will allow you to simply buy the spring of your tension.
The 3D plow model uses the RC4WD 1/8 winch which has its limits to how much it can pull/hold. It is around 6lbs. I have tested with 2ppi and it seems to keep the decent downward force while allowing the winch to hold in place.

There are 2 variations of the top/bottom cap. v2 are approximately 3mm shorter.

The entire setup screws together by the printed bolt thread.
strut should print as one piece and will slide together. It may take a little force to break it free. I am using a screw drive to push through the open end to break the print free.

Top/bottom caps should be printed with supports touching build plate where the M3 hold side down. Ex: the printed threads should always be the top. I have been using normal supports with 2% density. breaks away easily.

Strut should be printed open side on the build plate. This should not need supports. If using supports I suggest at least .5 from the print.

This is currently designed for a 13mm ID spring and can accept up to 15mm OD spring.
Length is approximate 74mm to 80mm depending on which top/bottom cap you want to print.
