3D model description

This it the Bearded Qiulong Dragon. After working with my designer, Kristanto17, we have come up with something we really like. Taking after other hair models, Our Beard has a Shield that it prints to and needs to be removed before styling. The beard my be styled in hot water, or with a hair dryer/ Heat gun. This dragon can be scaled up but be careful when scaling down to small as the beard might not print correctly.

We updated the File on 02/06/2022 to 1.1. This version has improved Beard bridges and has no gaps depending upon layer height. My tests say that it can be scaled down to 80% without to much issue. Version 1.0 is no longer available.

If you want to sell our model Come over to our patron and get a Commercial subscription License. You do not have permission to sell the Print of the file and not the file itself until you are a patron.

3D printing settings

I recommend a .16 layer height, Model can be printed with out infill but I do a 5% line infill. Make sure you add "print thin walls" as each beard and mustache hair is only.4 and scaling down will make them smaller. Model can be scaled down just be sure to adjust layer height accordingly as you down size otherwise part of the beard will print too short to meet the outer wall. Have your skin overlap percentage at15%(.06mm) slightly up so the layers overlap slightly to secure the beard to the model.

Do NOT have outer wall wipe distance turned on(HAVE THIS AT 0.0). If this is turned on it erases the beard.
Don't have supports selected as it will fuse the beard.

I will be updating the file as needed.
