3D model description

Once every 600 years, the Doom-Star, a comet emitting a strange violet radiance passes over the ancient world bringing bad tidings and strife in it's wake. Crops fail, livestock fall ill, and very often the dead rise from their graves to torment the living. It was under this necrotic light that Kraggi Kraggisson XIII was born. Miss carriage and stillbirths are common during the yearlong havoc brought on by the Doom-Star, and yet Kraggi emerged hale and hearty from his mothers womb, shortly before she died.

Bad-Luck seemed to befall many who were close to Kraggi earning him the nickname Doom-Wake. Several living within the mountain hold wanted him exiled, claiming he was cursed. His Father would have none of that, and decided if his son was followed by doom that he would guide his son to direct it towards the enemies of Dwarfkind. He taught his son to hunt mutimals in the great wild forests, slay trolls on the frigid slopes of the mountains and ambush goblins on the feral steppes. For a time this seemed to ease the jinx surrounding Kraggi, and life was good.

When Kraggi married, his Father gifted his son a pair of finely crafted hand axes made by his own hand, inlaid with gold and engraved with the likeness of his mother and grandfather. To his new daughter he gifted gold bejewelled braid clasps and a golden buckle engraved with the image of the All-Father. It was the best time in Kraggi's life, but it was to be short lived. The doom Kraggi would usually mete out upon the monsters seemed to manifest within his family home. Both his Father and Wife, along with the child she carried died of a mysterious wasting illness.

Grief, guilt and rage consumed Kraggi, and he vowed revenge on this evil that followed him. Donning the enchanted shackles of the Vengeance Sworn, Kraggi swore to bring death and destruction upon the vile monsters and evil-doers of the ancient world, going so far as to live long enough to destroy the very comet that cursed his life. It has been 460 years since Kraggi made that oath, and the Doom-Star draws ever closer...
