This is an adjustable air limiter/reduction plug to be screwed on a gas mask or a NATO hose (standard 40mm thread) for breath control. You can set it from free airflow to (almost) no airflow at all by turning the top.

The plug consists of 3 parts. You need two M2x12mm screws to screw together the inset and the top part inside the base part. Use these for example:

The inset is ment to be really tight fitting. To get it almost airtight use sandpaper and a bit of viscous (silicon) oil/grease or similar substances.
