3D model description

This model is designed for Dusk cosplay from Arknights.
It come with 2 parts, sword and the sheath. The sword is cut into 13 pieces and 7 pieces for sheath to fit in Ender 3 with 200mm x 200mm x 200mm platform. Un-cut file also include just in case you want to cut it yourself.

A picture label with file names is attach in the preview section. You can refer to that picture to get the parts you want to print easily.

Please print the pieces according to order to avoid confusion, as some of the pieces look quite the same.

All the pieces come with flat surfaces that can lay on the bed easily. There is no hanging part for all the pieces therefore the use of support can be avoided. However, brim is still recommend just in case warping happen during the printing process.

For the arrangement of pieces, you can refer to the picture I attach in the preview. For sheath, it is only 3mm thick, so please be extra careful during the post process work or use higher infill to create sturdier pieces to work on.

Since the sword is solid, I will suggest using bone when joining them together for a stronger bond. It can be done by drilling holes on the joining surfaces and bridge them with a steel or wooden rod.

For sheath, since it is hollow and thin, superglue should be able to hold them well. If you need extra adhesive on them, you can melt the connecting seam with heating rod and apply some putty on them. After that sand those imperfection down with sand paper.

The honey comb pattern on the sword and pattern on the sheath is designed with 0.5mm thick for painting guide. If you want to make it deeper, you can crave it with craft knife.

Cheers and happy printing!
