3D model description

In an apocalyptic universe, where animals have all disappeared from the surface of the earth, devoured by humans too numerous to be self-sufficient and content with their crops, a company called SWAP3D has decided to repopulate the earth's fauna in an artificial way... Here is the first robotic animal, the panther! *Let's hope that humans don't eat it !

Futuristic mechanical panther with a good level of detail.

Modeled on Blender 2.49b (yes, it's an old version, I've been using it for over 10 years, and I have no desire to change. Change is bad, technology is bad. Robotic animals are bad. Except if it's a panther, then it's so cute!)

You will find in the file :

  • 1 file of the complete panther if you want to print it in one go (to be enlarged x2000% max, placing it diagonally for a 22x22 tray like the Ender 3 range).

  • 18 files that will allow you to print it in almost real size (about 110cm long in total). Each file is printable on a 22x22 plate. (to enlarge x10 000% to get the same size as on the pictures presented).

Feel free to post your impressions of the panther! I'm very curious to see what you make of it!

3D printing settings

For printing, I recommend:

-4 mm minimum border.

-Minimum 15% fill (or 20% if you choose "flash" on Cura).

-Wall thickness: 2.4mm minimum for a large format version (otherwise, 1.2mm thickness)

-Horizontal expansion of the supports from 1 to 2mm (for small scale, it will allow the tail to be properly held in the air during printing).

For the printing speeds, do as you wish, it will be according to your printer and the quality of your filament.

I will try to answer your questions as much as possible.
