3D model description

03/16/23 UPDATE: Smaller file sizes, hollowed "ears," and included a vacuum forming buck for the lens.

3D Modeled Daft Punk Thomas Bangalter helmet designed for 3D printing. These are one piece STL files. I am working on breaking it up into parts that will fit on a 220x220 bed (ender 3). In the meantime, you can cut it yourself to fit your printer if yours isn't large enough to print one piece. If you need it done, I will do it for you. Just let me know your bed size.

Included are two versions. One with a print in place lens (obviously for display purposes), and another with no lens so you can add a real one that you can see through and even add your LED's and what not!

If you have suggestions to improve the model, do let me know. I will do everything I can to make it perfect. If you need a different format, also let me know. Not a problem.

ALL FUTURE UPDATES to these files will be free of charge. This model will soon also include the glove pieces (stl files) that you would attach to some gloves after finishing. I'm working on those now. As stated, you can download the updated file at no extra cost.

3D printing settings

I print these on their backside so the supports repairs are hidden. Very little supports are needed inside to support the "face" area in this manner.
