3D model description

i wanted a pelletizer that was clean and was made as much on the printer as possible and durable and easy to locate parts to make that i think that every body has in their junk boxes

i tried to find bearings for this but none that would work so this is as durable as i can make using plastic

the grub screws seem pretty large for this but are necessary as you will see when you put this together when cutting it puts a lot of pressure on the drill bit causing a real big kick back so it is imperative to have the grub screws these do 2 things it keeps the drill from crushing the sleeve and wabiling and second it keeps the ware on the largest part of the sleve

i put this between my legs while sitting so there is no nead for a clamp down i have considered making a clamp down as well as hand held filament feed or drive directly from the drill but the way that it is know is pretty fast and with the inner ptfe tube this holds the filament while feeding so you can feed a whole role realy fast

print all parts using PLA not ABS
PLA is a much harder than ABS ,ABS wares to fast

the theory of this is that 2 serfices the hardest material will ware the softest material so all ware serfices are the same material for no ware if you have ever tried to file down PLA you know how hard this stuff is

print everything at 60% infill 100% would be better
every thing is threaded for m6 threads but the sleeve for some reason will not print the threads properly for a tight fit if you print this part at the lowest heigth of .1 i think that the threads might be tight enough
threaded for

parts neaded
1-7/16" drill bit
4-m6x6 grub screws
or for a tighter fit coarse
4- 1/4-20 x 1/4"
1-m6x30 3d printer tube and nut there is 20mm threaded part so any thing larger than 20mm
4-plastic screws or screws of your choice for the hold down ring
1-wide mouth mason jar and ring
