3D model description

2 springs comp 9/32x12"
16 m3x8 screws and bolts
screws for plastic
solorbotics GM9 motor box

this powered landing gear has built in protection by using a spring on top of the legs this allows the legs to move past the guide and just click then in the extended position the legs will go past the guides and just click then the weight of the trailer will allow it to reengage raising the legs

this worm gear setup is extremely powerful i will probably be using this box again in further projects

this is for my 1/4 scale trailers the box trailer and fuel trailer i am still at a loss as how i am going to raise and lower the lowboy i believe this worm gear box will lift the weight of the trailer and a load don't know until i actually start working on that lowboy

as far as operating the landing gear i have a couple of ideas i found some rc 27mhz transmitter/receiver on ebay for about $3 each i have a few of these ordered

the second option is to use the electronics in a servo all you would do is un solder the motor and then run the motor out to the landing gear i have a couple of servos that are striped that would work well for this or one of those gutless mini servos that i can not think of a good use for these yet

as well as lights i can run separate lights from a light board installed in the trailer the whole process to me has ben hindered by the fact that if i have to hook up a cable for the power then it would be pointless to make everything remote

i do have a plan to make hitch plate using concuctave pla to power lights and the legs but when the trailer is lifted then i would lose power to even lower the thing again so i realy would like to know how the ones you see at the truck shows are able to operate wireless ??? there are just to many problems i can't seem to grasp but eventually i will figure out a good method
