this xy slide vise was working great for metal but

i have found a slide for this drill press and this vise fits perfectly on top
i have ordered a vise that i believe will work on both this xy slide and the xy slide i purchased so i believe this xy sliding vise is interchangable with store bought vises

the slide threads are 2mm pitch so 1 full handle turn=2mm
the reason such large pitch is 3d printers do not print nuts and threads smaller with out easly striping threads with and kind of preasure so the threads are as strong and as smoth as a metal rod at this size

also note that they are LH thread

there are holes for both vert and lat adjustment they are only neaded if there is exess movenent and how it prints on your printer you will either be to tight and have to file and sand parts to fit or have to much movement this is the only time you nead to put the set screws in
