3D model description

!!! Update: December 16th 2019

Please print the arm with 50% or more infill, My arm just broke and I'm pretty sure it was because of the low infill that i've used.

I created this tensioner because I didn't find any small or functional enough for me.
It is part of a series of upgrades I made on my Anet A8 and that I will post all projects here soon.

It is very simple to print, spends very little filament and is extremely tight so it does not cause vibrations and most importantly you will not lose movement area for the X axis.

To assemble it we will use the following materials:

  1. The X-axis bearing of the printer
  2. 3x M3 nuts
  3. 1x M3x18mm screw
  4. 1x M3x30mm screw

"No part uses support for printing, and resolution is up to each individual's need"

Update August, 18th 2019

The arm and knob need printing support. See pictures with examples.

The infill can be at most 30% because the stress on the parts justifies nothing greater than this. Update: Use 50% in the arm.

Enjoy and give me a like.
