3D model description

Plo Koon was a Kel Dor Jedi Master who served as a member of the Jedi High Council during the last years of the Galactic Republic

This model is a wearable helmet of Plo Koon Jedi. Files contain pieces of the helmet ready to be a 3D printed (STL) and complete model in OBJ file, that are not cut into smaller pieces.

The printed prop was made by M.M's Prop Shop

SCALE

The total dimensions of the helmet are approx.:

  • Width approx.364 mm

  • Length approx. 319 mm

  • Height approx. 405 mm

  • Inner circumference approx. 590 mm

The model is made for an average size but you can scale the model according to your head measurements. It is good to make it bigger and then add cushioning to the inside for a snug and comfortable fit.

This model was created by someone from our 3Demon team. It is fan-made. We are a group of modeling and 3d printing enthusiasts, based in Prague, Czech Republic. We make cosplay accessories, props, and various 3D designs. Sometimes we also print and build large crazy stuff.

3D printing settings

As the helmet is quite big, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.1 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the helmets shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
