3D model description

I got a bit tired of trying to hold the filament straight at the same time as measuring while calibrating e steps. So, simple solution, hold it in place. Once you've threaded it through the center it shouldn't come lose. Next mark above the entry point on the filament then use either GCODE or a control panel to nudge the filament down until the bottom of your mark as in line with the top of the tool. Now you can extrude 100mm of filament and measure from the top of the tool to the bottom of the mark and it should hopefully be a little less stressful to get a good measurement.

Now you calculate 100/measured*(current esteps) to get a new setting for your esteps.

The tools should be 105mm long, so you can meausure how accurately your printed is printing height at the same time as a sort of added bonus.
