Two Part Pegboard Mount for Wyze CAM V2

This project started with a requirement to be able to pegboard mount a Wyze Cam v2. The Wyze Cam v2 mount 3030

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3983546

designed by Foden7 was an ideal starting because of the retaining clip or 'bump' that helps to hold the Cam in place. The remix involved a few minor changes to the mount including an elongation to the 'bump' so that it was easier to depress when removing the cam (my hands are all thumbs). Unfortunately, when looking at ways to remix this design by adding pegboard mounting pins, it was not clear if there was a printing orientation that could be utilized to minimize delamination problems with the Cam retainer 'bump' and pegboard pins when printed as an integrated unit. The final choice was to break the design into two parts, a Pegboard Bracket with a Cable Management Slot (File 1001) and Wyze Cam V2 Holder (File 1002). The Cam Holder also has a 'spring' to help steady and hold the part in the Pegboard Bracket.

While there is a considerable amount of support required to print these objects, it is strongly recommended that the components be printed with the orientation as provided in the files to ensure maximum strength in the components.

A 'cable management' slot has been Incorporated in the Pegboard Bracket to restrain the Cam V2 power cable.

Note 1:

The the retaining clip or 'bump' on the part of the Cam V2 Holder that fits into the Pegboard Bracket will lose some of it's memory over time but the reduced force should still be sufficient to steady the unit and offer some resistance to prevent it from falling out.

Note 2:

The components have been designed for a snug fit. If the Cam V2 Holder will not slide into the Pegboard Bracket sand the Cam V2 Holder with a 150 to 200 grit to round the edges and reduce the width.

It is not uncommon to find small variations in pegboard hole sizes. Sometimes the Pegboard Bracket will require a firm push to mount. If the components are printed with four walls and in accordance with the recommended orientation the pegs will be relatively strong and should not break. If the Pegboard Bracket can not be inserted, carefully ream out the pegboard holes to a slightly larger size.
