Eleni’s Butterfly Box contains a butterfly on each of the sides and the top of the box. This box has rounded corners on the outside and inside of the box which makes it different from all of Eleni’s other boxes. The butterfly is a part of JWizard’s Custom Stencil Collection. The butterfly turns the box into a decorative item for storage or display. All it takes is to figure out what filament to use to create the desirable effect!

Keep in mind that the bigger the box, the thicker and stronger it will be. All of our box designs are test printed to make sure the cover fits correctly on the box. This box can be scaled to meet your needs.

Ideas:

This box can be scaled proportionally on all axes. It is best to scale the x and y axes the same to not distort the butterflies. You can also scale the z-axis separately to make the top and bottom of the box smaller or taller.

Any filament can be used and the box will look good. To bring out that butterflies on the box to the max you might wish to choose a shiny silk, multi-colored PLA filament. Our photos will give you an idea of what you can expect using different types of filament.
