3D model description

This design replaces the half / open carry handle on the Nerf Modulus ECS-10 with a full handle that uses existing mount structure in back and rear portion of rail in front. Major bonus that you get a nice long rail -- both Picatinny- and Nerf-style rails are included.

It is quite difficult to snap the front of this handle on to the rail but once it fully snaps on it is really stable (you can sand the rail mount portions of the print to make it easier to snap on). The halves are designed to be screwed together with 4x standard Nerf 10mm long screws.

Note: I left as much of the front rail available as I could but many rail mounted accessories will not be able to push back fully (anyway you do get the full rail on top).

The top rails are separate files so you can attach either Nerf-style or Picatinny rails (also you can modify these -- for example, make them fit accessories tighter / looser -- without having to re-print the handle. The rail screws on with 6x M1.7 x 6mm screws. You can drill slightly larger holes if you want to use larger screws.

There is also a front Picatinny rail that mounts on the remaining portion of the front-top rail.

Finally, the side-mount Picatinny rails are formed to sit at around a 10 degree angle on the back portion of the carry handle (tried my best to provide clearance from the top rail and the side). These are fully optional and you will need to drill 4 small holes in the handle to screw each of these side rails down (I did not pre-hole the handle since I am not sure how useful these are). Note: Picatinny rails are modified from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4080185

If you find my 3D designs useful please send me 18-dart clips or other Nerf accessories you do not use ;)
