This is a follow focus gear ring Module 0.8 for the Canon EF 100mm 2.8 L Series macro lens. This is a great lens and adding a follow focus ring to it, helps with both video and stopmotion.

After spending a good deal of time trying to find a suitable one to print or buy, with no luck - or $50+ options, I decided to bite the bullet and learn how to make one. This fits perfectly on my lens, and I have added in support rods on the inside for better grip, and to ensure that the gear does not rotate around the lens on it's own.

Should you find this to be too snug for your liking, simply file or sand the gripper rods - so you can effectively enlarge the opening without reducing it's structural integrity.

If there is interest, I could make more, for different lenses. A test fit is critical, as I've seen a drift of about 0.5 to 1.25mm which can definitely affect fit.
