3D model description

SD Card adaptor housing for the Creality Ender 3 Pro

There is a compact SD Card Adaptor Housing here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3537808

Please note if you have customised the bed type or bed position to lower than stock the adjacent Bed levelling adjustment bolt may conflict with the top of the housing. With the standard set up the bottom of the bolts clears by at least 10 mm (see uploaded images).

This thing attaches to the Ender 3 Pro via the top front screw to the right of the printer and at the end of the 40\40 base extrusion using the existing bolt.
1.The thing includes an aperture to allow access to the USB port.
2.Storage for 1 x SD & 1 x Micro SD card and a card orientation symbol.
3.Cable tie apertures to help tidy ribbon cable

I used the following Micro SD to SD card adaptor:

Amazon UK site:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01C84YKVA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=tv-auto-20

International Site:
https://www.amazon.com/LANMU-Extension-Flexible-Monoprice-Raspberry/dp/B01D9JIUU0/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1549048389&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=LANMU+Micro+SD+to+SD+Card+Extension+Cable&psc=1

Assembly:
1.Insert adaptor into housing.
2.Tidy excess ribbon cable with an elastic band.
3.Fasten with cable tie if necessary.
5.Carefully insert Micro SD jack into appropriate slot.
6.Fix to lid via 1 x existing hex bolt to end of 40\40 extrusion.

Printing:
1.The main body is printed vertically and does not need any supports. I have also included a break away foot pad to aid stability when printing so it does not need a raft.
2.Body printed @ 50 mms 0.2 resolution and 20 % infill on a Ender 3 Pro..
