Megatron's Command Chair and Computer Globe from Transformers Beast Wars

A two-parter set harking from the interior of the Darksyde, here's the floating command chair and the computer globe which Megatron uses a fair bit to plan his evil schemes. Yessss..

Some tweaks needed to be made as it would be unlikely that either the chair or the globe would be able to be suspended from above.

Here's the chair first on its own, mounted above a standard CyberBase tile using a clear "pillar" piece.

Adding on the globe computer on its side (which is mounted on another CBS tile), the full setup would look something like below. The globe computer mounts on a arm featuring a side piston mechanism which slides in and out depending on the angle of the arm.

For our setup, we had managed to find a 6cm diameter clear plastic Christmas ornament shell. But if that is hard to come by, a similarly sized 3d-printable 6cm sphere in two halves has also been provided. Megatron should fit quite nicely onto the seat!

As a slight enhancement, rubber tubings can be used to connect between available 5mm ports on the piece for a more mechanically wired look.

Additionally, 5mm ports have been designed on the underside of the Command Chair allowing it to be used on the earlier tensegrity floating platform ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/49214130 ) to give it a better illusion of floating in mid air.

Here's how the various pieces are assembled, and where the various pegs are required. As usual, you can use either the provided 3d printable pegs, or cutting standard plastic pegs down to length.
