Ball jointed Thestral doll with 59 articulate points.

Height at the withers of the printed animal is 20 cm height. Wingspan 65 sm.

All joints should be glued with hot glue. It may need to be updated in case of intense play. Disassembly of the toy is not required for this.

The right wing is printed in a mirror image to the left, so I do not upload the files of the right wing. For LEFT wing, you need to print 7 "Wing_finger_1_left", 7 "Wing_finger_2_left", 3 "wing_nail_left", 1 "wing_palm_left", 1 "wing_arm_1_left", 1 "wing_arm_2_left", 1 "wing_shoulder_1_left" and 1 "wing_shoulder_2_left".

The assembly of the Thestral is very difficult, it requires perseverance and patience.

The build order is as follows:

  1. Wings 1.1. Left wing: First, the elements of the "fingers" are superimposed on the biflex and under it and are fastened through with screws (8mm). Then a thin elastic band (1.5 mm) is threaded sequentially through the "fingers", through the "nail" and back. Makes a loop around the inner rod in the "palm" and goes to the next "finger". So all three "fingers". The elastic band is tied into a knot, which is hidden in the "palm" of the wing. Next, the "shoulder" (8 mm and 10 mm screws) and the "arm" (8 mm screws) are attached to the wing fabric. An elastic band of 2 mm is threaded through the "shoulder", "arm", around the inner rod in the "palm" and back. The biflex and one tail of the elastic band is threaded through the body to the right side. The second tail exits through a hole on the inside of the "bob" joint receiver in the "body". 1.2. The right wing is assembled in the same way as the left wing. The free tail of the 2 mm elastic band is brought out to the first one and tied.

2.Chest-bob-neck-ball-head.
Insert a 2 mm elastic band into the groove on the inside of the "bob" joint receiver in the "chest". Then the "bob", "neck", "neck_1", "head" are put on sequentially and a knot is tied.
3. Front legs.
Sequentially put the "shoulder_left", "arm_left", "knee_left", "left wrist", "pastern_palm_left", "palm_left" on the elastic band 3 mm, then pass the elastic band back. Pass both ends of the elastic band through the "chest" and repeat these actions with the right leg. The knot is hidden in the" shoulder" of the leg.
4. Hind legs.
Before you start assembling the hind legs, you need to thread a 1.5 mm elastic band for the tail into the groove (after installing the legs, this will be very difficult to get a thick elastic band). They are assembled as sequentially as the front legs. The knot is under the tail.
5. Tail.
The details of the tail are consistently put on the inserted elastic band. The knot is hidden in the "chest".
