3D model description

I designed this case for a Crius GPS NEO-6 module (v3.1) as I couldn't find any published designs that fitted.

This case is for a module pcb of approx 40.5 x 40.5 x 1.0 mm.

There are corner pillars in the base for attaching the module if not using the lid.

If using the lid, the pcb is held in place between the pillars and the skirt of the lid.

3D printing settings

I printed mine from white ABS at a layer height of 0.4mm.

PWR & FIX LED's shine through the side of the case well enough to be seen.

As the thickness of the lid is only 1mm there shouldn't be any noticable signal attenuation but I designed the case to have the option of using with or without the lid.

The lid is a tight snap fit but best to use a dab of glue to ensure it won't come off.
