These are planters of the heads of the robots called SAMES of the serie Final Space. SAMES (Synthetic Artificial Masses Erecting Safeness) were humanoid maintenance robots aboard the Galaxy One spaceship, where Gary, in his solitude, named and tagged some of the robots on their forehead. On season 2, the broken head of the one named Carl is seen been used as a planter, watered by Fox. I made the many names seen in the show, and a pale version. For each one, I made a planter, and a non-planter version; and for each of them, three way to be printed and assembled:

  • One part: complete version, printed all at once. Need to be painted.
  • No cuts: To be printed in different colours, no need to paint, except for the forehead names. The "face" part and the "back" part can be glued with heat glue, silicone, cement; the eyes and mouth should be glued with cyanoacrylate (superglue) or similar.
  • Easy print: Parts are divide in two, so they are easier to print. The bad part is that you need to glue them and the joint rims are difficult to hide off.

As for most of my post with a lot of files, I grouped the files in 7zip packages, with the configs listed above. Almost every part needs support. I wanted to do these planters customisable, but I don't really know how. May be when I learn more about OpenSCAD I'll do a customisable version. Until then, you can ask me to do a particular name in the forehead for you.
