3D model description

If you child is at that age of opening doors and you keep some doors locked like the laundry room, then this gadget makes unlocking the door easy for the adults.
The door lock guard is just a friction fit on the Schlage Accent style door handle. There may be other brands that it would fit also.

The plunger can easily be pressed with your thumb.

A M3 x 5mm flathead screw is optional.

An 1/16 ish rod cut to fit your door lock is required. I used a 1/16 tig rod.
You will need to ream the hole in the plunger for a press fit of the rod or use schmoo to hold it in. Approximate length needed for mine was with the plunger installed the rod extended 5mm past the bottom of the notch.
