PooSafe - Smell Free Dog Poop Container

This is a container for containing the smelly bagged dog poo from your pouch.

I designed this after taking a friend’s dogs for several walks and got fed up with the smell and danger of the plastic poo bags splitting.

Therefore I designed the PooSafe to eliminate the nasty smell and the danger of the poo bags splitting in my rucksack.

It is designed to take BAGGED poo only.

It is printed in PETG for durability and waterproofness.

Glue used = Cyanacrylate.

The PooSafe a slightly easier to open top. The 2.5mm gives a tighter, more smell proof seal.

O-rings can easily be purchased by searching on the internet.
If you wish to use your PooSafe before you O-ring order arrives, then several rubber/elastic bands will suffice until the O-rings are delivered. It is best to tack them in place with Cyanocrylate (Superglue). Lightly grease with petroleum gel (Vaseline).

A belt loop is provided to allow attachment of the PooSafe to a belt with a Karabiner.

It is possible to alter the size of the PooSafe for different size dogs & their Poos however some experimentation with the size of O-ring would be necessary. The O-ring needs to be slightly smaller than the spigot ID diameter in the top. The rubber diameter should be scaled up from the 2.0 to 2.5 mm of the standard design.
