3D model description

Why Bonsai?
I recently started growing some adeniums (desert roses) and wanted a concrete bonsai pot. I looked around and couldn't find any models, so I designed one myself.

In traditional bonsai fashion, the pot is wider than it is tall and can also accommodate many small succulents. Two drainage holes can made at the base of the pot along with channels for water flow.

Putting it together
The middle section produces the cavity where the plants will sit. The side of the pot needs to be printed twice and tied around where the seams meet to keep them in place. The holes are produced with the mold and can be pushed into the concrete after it has been poured.

Greasing all of the parts is a required, either kitchen oil or any sort of grease will work. Even with the greasing it can be difficult to pull out the middle section; either put the fully set concrete pot in a vice or ask a friend to hold the pot while you pull out the middle section. I recommend waiting for the concrete to fully set before disassembly - be patient.
