Forest Ground Patch STL Set

A set of 14 printable ground pieces designed with the intent of adding model trees that slot into the bases. Includes varied shapes with detailed surface texture that can be scaled larger or smaller as needed, for different kinds of terrain needs. Patches for terrain that needs enough flat areas for troops/vehicles to fit into, Line/Dense pieces to block Line of Sight in your games, and six designs for singular trees to fill out empty space. In total this pack includes the following:

• 6 single tree bases
• 4 forest patches
• 2 forest lines
• 2 forest dense patches

These pieces can be printed flat on a printer (preferably FDM), but I also included a pack with each piece split in two that can be printed on their side and glued together - my preferred method to get a cleaner top surface finish.

NOTE: The trees shown in photos are NOT printed, nor included with this pack. Various model train layout trees, grass, and plants have been added to the set of bases photographed. You will have to find trees to slot into the bases elsewhere.

Tested parts were printed on their side out of Hatchbox PLA at 0.16mm layer height. All pieces can fit on a standard FDM printer, but making the larger pieces of out resin will require further splits of the pieces using Meshmixer or a similar software.
