3D model description

This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/5UKEdr6EGhw

I own Creative Labs I-Trigue 3300 speakers, a 2.1 speaker system from the mid-2000's, and the speakers are great except if you look at them sideways they'll fall over.

https://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=4&prodID=139&prodName=I-Trigue%202.1%203300&CatName=Sistemi+di+altoparlanti

I needed a small brace or clamp to hold them in place and that's exactly what I've done here.

Designed to slip over 1 in. x 12 in. x 4 ft. pine common board from Home Depot which I used to create a nook for under-monitor storage on my desk.

Printed at 195C, bed 50C Amazon PLA.

Needs supports, I choose Line supports generated in Cura 4 beta to keep the filament path along the axis of force and not rely on layer bonding for strength.

EDIT 9/8/2020:

These lasted more than 18 months and a move and still kept doing their job, but today is the day to reprint them in PETG. They're still working, doing their job, but I'm reprinting a number of items that I originally printed in PLA because it was the only material I had, and I was afraid of changing the spool. But a very long time later here we are, the design is still unimpeachable, and PETG is absolutely the better material for this job.

Amazon PETG, 250C nozzle, 80C bed. Cura 4.7.1, tree supports. .4 nozzle, .2 layer height, 3 walls, 6 top and bottom layers for 1.2mm each perimeter.
