3D model description

This is a 37T to 45T adaptor for electric skateboard pulleys!

designed for the Backfire cloudwheel pulleys, but it works on any 37T pulley

A few considerations:

  • The STL has 0.5mm clearance, at first it might feel quite stiff but after a bit of putting it on and pulling it off it should wear in. If you have a better printer and want one with a smaller clearance, or if you want one with a bigger clearance for a less snug fit, tell me in the comments! I'll be happy to upload the files.

  • Make sure your elephant foot compensation is dialed in! you don't want it to not insert completely!

  • I haven't tested it yet, but plan to put it in use as soon as possible. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

  • it's PLA so it's gonna wear down faster than normal pulley material, it still shouldn't be a huge problem as it just takes a few hours to reprint and replace it. If you have better materials, feel free to test and tell us in the comments!

  • if you want to try it, you have to print it slow, hot, with many perimeters and with an infill of ~65%, as it was tested to be stronger than 100%.

  • you're gonna need bigger belts for this. I don't know exactly how big, if you know, tell me! It's gonna be harder to find the right belts with the new non-adjustable mounts, but a set of adjustable ones should be arriving to me :)
