3D model description

This the snow ski that I created to fly off the snow. It should fit most electric RC airplanes with tricycle or tail dragger front wheels in the same 1/8 in. wire wheel struts. The file with skig is for the front steering wheel.

After printing you will need to heat up the front part (first 1 in.) of the ski and bend up at a 30 degree angle.

You will also need to place a spring to provide bounce and to keep the angle of the ski level during flight. I picked up some springs at the local Home Depot and put them on each ski, with one end rapped around the axle and the other end straighten about 2 in. and place against the ski.
